ITA -- Matteo, nato in Italia nel 1974, è un fotografo autodidatta. Il suo lavoro spazia da ritratti effimeri a paesaggi incantati ed è caratterizzato da uno stile minimalista e da una profonda sensibilità artistica.
In costante attesa della scintilla che muta un silente paesaggio in unico e un ritratto in specchio dell'anima, Matteo trasforma le ombre che corrono su dolci colline, le luci di strade e paesi antichi, in un immagine non fedele al reale, ma onirica, con un'armonia che trasmette sollievo dall'essere. Nei ritratti quell'essere che con i paesaggi tenta di alleviare, lo ricerca, lo fa aspettando quei momenti in cui l'impegno tecnico e mentale è massimo, per suonare uno strumento o per calarsi completamente in un personaggio, in quegli attimi di pura follia in cui ci si annulla e ci si mette a nudo.
Per portare avanti questo suo progetto non solo fotografico, ma anche di vita, gira costantemente per le sue amate Marche e si dedica a fotografare spettacoli teatrali e concerti creando veri e propri racconti visivi capaci di trasmettere l'atmosfera, le emozioni pure e la forza narrativa di queste performance.

In the portraits, he seeks that being that he sought to alleviate with the landscapes, he does so by waiting for those moments when the technical and mental commitment is maximum, to play an instrument or to fully immerse himself in a character, in those moments of pure madness in which one annihilates oneself and lays bare.
To pursue this project, which is not only photographic but also a way of life, he constantly travels around his beloved Marche region and dedicates himself to photographing theatrical performances and concerts, creating real visual stories capable of conveying the atmosphere, pure emotions, and narrative power of these performances.
